The mat is made of polyethylene film coated with water-soluble acrylic adhesive. When the top layer becomes contaminated, it can simply be peeled off to reveal a new, clean adhesive surface. The product contains the antibacterial agent OIT. According to the manufacturer, production is certified in accordance with ISO 9001, ISO 13485 and ISO 14001.
